Man City wins WSL title

Manchester City have been crowned Women's Super League champions, ending a decade-long wait and breaking Chelsea's six-year stranglehold on the trophy.

The title was mathematically confirmed following Arsenal's 1-1 draw against Brighton, which left City with an insurmountable lead at the top of the table.

Manager Andree Jeglertz credited the team's "ambition, quality, and hunger" for the historic achievement.

The victory marks a significant milestone for the club, which is now on track for a potential domestic double as they prepare for an upcoming FA Cup semi-final.
