IPL: Kohli makes T20 history

Needing just 20 runs to reach the milestone, Kohli surpassed the 1,000-run mark against Mumbai, further solidifying his status as the league's most prolific scorer.

The match also saw Shubman Gill become the youngest player to reach 4,000 career IPL runs in a separate fixture.

Both teams wore black armbands during the match to honor the late singer Asha Bhosle.
