During a visit by South Korean President Lee Jae Myung to San Francisco, major South Korean and US technology firms announced a landmark $950 billion partnership aimed at securing semiconductor supply chains for artificial intelligence.

The agreements include SK Group committing to provide $750 billion in high-performance chips, while Nvidia secured memory supply from SK Hynix.

Additionally, Samsung Electronics won a $200 billion Broadcom AI chip partnership, further boosting its foundry ambitions.

These deals underscore the deepening integration between the two countries' tech sectors as they race to dominate AI hardware.
