Artemis II captures Earth's beauty
The four-person crew of Artemis II is currently halfway to their destination, marking a significant milestone in humanity's return to deep space exploration.
These initial images, captured by Commander Reid Wiseman, provide a unique perspective of Earth against the vastness of space.
The mission is designed to test critical life-support systems and prepare for future lunar landings by breaking distance records set during the Apollo era.
Despite minor technical glitches with onboard software, NASA reports that the astronauts remain in high spirits and are continuing their scientific observations.
