Plane crashes into Ohio home

Two people have been confirmed dead after a small private plane crashed into a residential home in Akron, Ohio, causing a massive explosion.

A family of four inside the house at the time of the impact miraculously managed to escape the ensuing fire without injury.

Authorities reported that both occupants of the aircraft were killed instantly upon impact.

The crash occurred during the early evening hours, and investigators from the FAA are currently on-site to determine the cause of the technical failure.
