Russia-Ukraine Easter Truce Expires
Kyiv reported that Russian forces launched 98 drones during the truce period, with 87 intercepted by air defenses.
Moscow countered by claiming it had downed 33 Ukrainian UAVs and accused Kyiv of nearly 2,000 breaches of the agreement.
At least two civilians were killed in the Donetsk region before the ceasefire formally ended on Monday.
The failure of the truce to halt the fighting underscores the intractable nature of the conflict as it enters its fifth year.
