Kenyans sweep Boston Marathon

The 130th running of the Boston Marathon saw a dominant display by Kenyan athletes in nearly perfect weather conditions.

John Korir defended his title in spectacular fashion, breaking the course record 'by a lot' and solidifying his status as a world-class distance runner.

Sharon Lokedi also repeated her victory in the women's division, outlasting a competitive field on the challenging course.

American runners Zouhair Talbi and Jess McClain both finished fifth, setting new course records for US athletes.
