Tourist killed at Mexico pyramids
Violence erupted at one of Mexico's most iconic tourist destinations when a sniper opened fire from atop the Pyramid of the Moon.
The attack resulted in the death of a Canadian woman and left at least six other people wounded, including some who were injured while fleeing the scene.
Mexican security officials are investigating the motive behind the shooting, which occurred in front of hundreds of international visitors.
The incident has raised serious concerns about tourist safety as Mexico prepares to co-host the upcoming World Cup.
