GameStop CEO banned from eBay

GameStop CEO Ryan Cohen's attempt to acquire eBay has taken a bizarre turn after his personal selling account was suspended by the platform.

Cohen had been attempting to raise funds for a $55.5 billion leveraged buyout by auctioning off personal items, including a pair of used tube socks for $14,000.

Critics and some major investors have characterized the effort as a "clown show" that undermines the company's credibility.
