Stellantis unveils $70B strategy

Stellantis has announced a major five-year strategic plan that will see the automaker invest €60 billion ($70 billion) to launch 60 new models by 2030.

The 'FaSTLAne 2030' plan focuses on four core brands: Jeep, Ram, Peugeot, and Fiat.

The strategy includes a significant push into autonomous driving technology through a new partnership with UK-based startup Wayve.

CEO Carlos Tavares stated that the investment is critical to maintaining competitiveness in a rapidly evolving global market.

The plan also emphasizes a shift toward more sustainable manufacturing processes and the expansion of the company's electric vehicle lineup.
