John Ternus Named Apple CEO

In a significant leadership transition, Apple has named John Ternus as its next CEO, following the resignation of Tim Cook.

Ternus, a company veteran who has overseen the engineering of the iPhone, iPad, and Mac, is expected to bring a hardware-focused approach to the role.

Tim Cook will remain with the company as executive chairman, continuing to leverage his diplomatic skills and global relationships.

The change comes at a critical time as Apple faces increasing pressure to accelerate its innovation in artificial intelligence and mixed reality.
