Star Wars and Fortnite expanded deal

Disney and Epic Games are deepening their collaboration with a major 'Star Wars' event in Fortnite that spans multiple game modes.

Developers will now be able to use official 'Star Wars' assets, including characters like Darth Vader and vehicles like the T-6 Jedi Shuttle, to create their own custom islands.

A highlight of the partnership is a scheduled in-game screening of exclusive footage from the upcoming film 'The Mandalorian and Grogu.' This expansion is part of Disney's $1.5 billion investment in Epic Games, aimed at transforming Fortnite into a persistent social and entertainment hub.
