Artemis II Crew Returns Home

Commander Reid Wiseman, Pilot Victor Glover, and Mission Specialists Christina Koch and Jeremy Hansen arrived at Ellington Field to thunderous applause from family and NASA colleagues.

Their mission set a new deep-space travel record and tested the Orion spacecraft's capabilities for future lunar landings.

During their first public remarks since splashdown, the crew described Earth as a 'lifeboat' and emphasized that they are now 'bonded forever' by the experience.

The successful return marks a pivotal milestone in the Artemis program's goal to establish a long-term human presence on the lunar surface.
