SpaceX eyes $60bn AI acquisition

Elon Musk's SpaceX is making a massive play for dominance in the artificial intelligence sector with a planned multi-billion dollar acquisition of the coding startup Cursor.

The deal, which includes a $10 billion breakup fee, would give SpaceX a critical foothold in AI developer tools ahead of its Wall Street debut.

While Musk has recently voiced skepticism about 'doomerism' in AI, this move signals a more aggressive integration of AI into SpaceX's core operations.
