Princess of Wales marks Anzac Day

The Princess of Wales made a solo public appearance at the Cenotaph in London to lay a wreath commemorating Anzac Day.

The sombre ceremony honors Australian and New Zealand troops who died during the 1915 Gallipoli landing, with hundreds of onlookers gathered to pay their respects.

Princess Catherine represented King Charles III at the event, which was followed by a service of thanksgiving at Westminster Abbey.

Similar commemorations were held in Turkey and across Australia, marking the 111th anniversary of the historic Battle of Gallipoli.
