Israel-Lebanon Peace Talks Begin

Secretary of State Marco Rubio will host the ambassadors of Israel and Lebanon for historic diplomatic talks intended to end the ongoing war.

The negotiations come as the Israeli military intensifies its ground invasion of southern Lebanon, targeting Hezbollah strongholds such as Bint Jbeil.

Hezbollah leadership has already rejected the talks, urging the Lebanese government to withdraw and vowing not to abide by any resulting agreements.
