Obama Presidential Center Opens in Chicago

Former President Barack Obama dedicated his presidential center in Chicago, a sprawling campus and museum designed as a hub for civic life.

The opening ceremony included performances by The Roots, Christina Aguilera, and Bono, among others, but notably did not invite President Trump.

The center, located near where Obama began his political career, is expected to draw over a million visitors annually.

It represents a major cultural and economic milestone for the city's South Side.
