Senedd election poll shows dead heat

With just a fortnight to go until the Senedd elections, the political landscape in Wales has been thrown into turmoil.

The latest polling suggests that Dan Thomas's Reform UK could emerge as the largest party, narrowly ahead of the nationalist Plaid Cymru.

Both parties are benefiting from a collapse in support for Labour, which has governed Wales since the start of devolution.

However, the fragmented nature of the results suggests that a coalition government will be necessary, with no party currently on track to secure a majority in Cardiff.
