Kash Patel Defamation Suit Dismissed

United States District Judge George C. Hanks Jr. has dismissed a $250 million defamation lawsuit filed by FBI Director Kash Patel against Frank Figliuzzi.

The judge ruled that Patel failed to prove the former MSNBC contributor acted with actual malice when suggesting Patel spent more time in nightclubs than at FBI headquarters.

Simultaneously, a group of 18 House Democrats has called for an investigation into Patel's alleged alcohol use on the job, citing reports in The Atlantic.

Patel has denied the allegations, characterizing himself as an 'everyday American' while facing mounting political pressure.
