Oilers beat Ducks in opener

The Edmonton Oilers kicked off their postseason campaign with a hard-fought comeback victory against the Anaheim Ducks.

Kasperi Kapanen emerged as the hero, scoring the tiebreaking goal with under two minutes remaining in regulation.

The game also saw the return of star center Leon Draisaitl, who had been sidelined with a knee injury since mid-March.

Game 2 of the series will take place in Edmonton on Wednesday night.
