US Strikes Iran for Third Night

The United States military launched a third consecutive night of strikes against Iran, targeting facilities linked to Tehran's operations around the Strait of Hormuz.

President Donald Trump announced the strikes are intended to degrade Iran's military capabilities in the strategic waterway while simultaneously reinstating a naval blockade on Iranian ports.

The escalation follows reported attacks on commercial shipping, including an incident where the UAE said Iranian cruise missiles hit two of its oil tankers, killing one crew member and wounding several others.

Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps claimed it targeted two 'offending supertankers,' asserting they were engaged in illegal activities.
