Belfast boy home after record heart wait

A nine-year-old Belfast boy who waited a world-record eight years for a heart transplant has finally returned home.

Daithi MacGabhann's father had campaigned for changes to the organ donation system during his son's lengthy wait.

The family described the homecoming as a "massive milestone" after years of hospital stays.
