DHS Ebola arrival restrictions

The Department of Homeland Security has implemented new arrival restrictions for travelers who have recently visited Ebola-affected regions in Africa.

All U.S.-bound passengers from the DRC, Uganda, and South Sudan must now enter through Washington Dulles International Airport.

The move aims to centralize health screenings and mitigate the risk of the virus entering the country.

At least one Air France flight bound for Detroit was diverted to Montreal after a passenger from the DRC was found to have boarded 'in error.'
