DHS Worker Killed in Atlanta Attacks
The victim, identified as Lauren Bullis, was allegedly shot and stabbed while walking her dog in a violent spree that has drawn the attention of top Trump administration officials.
The suspect, Olaolukitan Adon Abel, was also accused of killing a second woman and critically injuring a homeless man during the Monday attacks.
DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin expressed devastation over the loss of a colleague and cited the incident as evidence of immigration vetting failures.
Abel, who received U.S. citizenship in 2022, is currently being held without bail as investigators work to determine a motive for the senseless violence.
