Bollywood legend Asha Bhosle dies

India is in mourning following the death of Asha Bhosle, one of the most versatile and prolific voices in musical history.

Admitted to Breach Candy Hospital with respiratory complications, the two-time Grammy nominee leaves behind a legacy that includes collaborations with international artists like Boy George and the Gorillaz.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and numerous film stars have paid tribute to the 'Nightingale,' whose last public appearance was at the wedding of Arjun Tendulkar.

Her last rites will be performed with full state honors at Shivaji Park on Monday.
