Roommate charged in USF murders

Hisham Abugharbieh has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder in the deaths of University of South Florida doctoral students Zamil Limon and Nahida Bristy.

The charges follow a police standoff after the victims, both from Bangladesh, disappeared from the Tampa campus earlier this month.

Authorities discovered Limon's remains on Friday, while the search for Bristy continues.

Abugharbieh, who was the victims' roommate, is being held without bond as investigators work to establish a motive for the killings.
