Tornadoes Slam US Midwest

The weather pattern has produced giant hail, some as large as softballs, and torrential rains that have led to flash flooding in Michigan.

Emergency crews are currently assessing the damage in affected communities, where some buildings have been completely leveled.

While no fatalities have been confirmed, several people have been hospitalized with injuries.
