007: First Light gameplay revealed

IO Interactive has provided the first extensive hands-on look at 007: First Light, the first major James Bond video game in over a decade.

The action-stealth title, built on a custom engine, explores the origin story of a young Bond and features a pluralistic gameplay approach similar to the studio's Hitman series.

Developers confirmed that the project was completed without the use of generative AI, focusing instead on handcrafted environments and character-driven narrative.

The game is slated for a May release and is being developed in close collaboration with Amazon MGM Studios.
