US-Iran Talks Produce 60-Day Peace Roadmap

Vice President JD Vance led the US delegation in Switzerland, describing the talks as laying a 'good foundation' for a successful final deal.

The agreement includes the release of frozen Iranian assets and a temporary waiver on oil sanctions, allowing Iran to sell crude in dollars.

Both sides also agreed to establish communication channels to ensure safe passage in the Strait of Hormuz.

However, Iran denied making any new commitments on nuclear inspections, highlighting the fragility of the accord.
