Police Launch Murder Probe into Widdecombe Death

Former Conservative minister Ann Widdecombe, 78, was found dead at her Dartmoor home on Thursday with what police described as serious injuries.

A murder investigation was opened, and officers are searching for a white male suspect.

Widdecombe, a former Strictly Come Dancing contestant and Reform UK spokeswoman, was initially reported to have died without suspicious circumstances.
