Artemis II Crew Returns Home

NASA's Artemis II mission concluded on Friday as the Orion spacecraft, carrying three Americans and one Canadian, safely landed off the coast of California.

The crew, led by Commander Reid Wiseman, reached record-breaking distances from Earth and captured unprecedented imagery of the lunar far side.

Following a high-speed re-entry that tested the spacecraft's heat shield, the astronauts were recovered by U.S. Navy divers and reported to be in excellent health.

This successful test flight validates critical deep-space systems and serves as a vital precursor to the upcoming Artemis III mission, which aims to return humans to the lunar surface.
