Artemis II nears historic moon flyby
NASA's Orion spacecraft is currently on track for a critical lunar flyby, representing a major milestone for the Artemis program.
The crew, consisting of three Americans and one Canadian, will experience 40 minutes of total communication silence as they pass behind the moon.
During this phase, the astronauts will conduct scientific observations and prepare for future lunar landings.
Despite minor technical issues with the onboard toilet, mission control reports that all primary systems remain functional for the return journey.
