Lululemon Probed for 'Forever Chemicals'
Lululemon is under fire as Texas authorities examine whether its popular yoga pants and athletic wear contain per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS).
Attorney General Ken Paxton issued a Civil Investigative Demand to the company, citing concerns that these chemicals are linked to cancer, infertility, and other serious health issues.
Lululemon has maintained that it stopped using PFAS more than two years ago and that its products are safe for consumers.
The investigation has already impacted the company's stock price and could lead to significant legal and regulatory challenges if the allegations are proven true.
