Nepal flood missing surpass 2,000

The number of missing people in Nepal's catastrophic flooding has jumped to over 2,000, making it the deadliest disaster for the country since 2015.

Close to 600 people have died, with more than 90 Americans still unaccounted for after the flooding and mudslides.

Survivors are recounting harrowing experiences of thinking they were going to die as the waters rose.

Tourism has been severely impacted as cancellations spook the sector, and families are desperately seeking information about loved ones, including an Infosys executive who was visiting the region.
