Ukraine launches 1,000 drones daily at Russia

President Volodymyr Zelensky has ordered Ukraine's military to launch 1,000 drones a day at Russia, escalating the aerial campaign.

Ukrainian strikes on Russian oil refineries have reached record levels, with at least 21 attacks in August alone, according to public statements from both sides.

Bloomberg reports that Russian oil refining has fallen to a 20-year low as a result of the sustained drone campaign.

The strikes are part of a broader strategy to degrade Russia's economic capacity to wage war.
