Jim Furyk named Ryder Cup captain

Jim Furyk has been selected as the United States captain for the 2027 Ryder Cup at Adare Manor in Ireland.

Furyk, who previously led the team in 2018, was chosen after Tiger Woods withdrew from consideration following his recent arrest and ongoing treatment.

The PGA of America tasked Furyk with obtaining the first U.S. triumph on European soil since 1993.
