Ryanair check-in rule change
The new '60-minute' rule will apply across all of Ryanair's operational airports as the airline responds to the rollout of the EU's new Entry/Exit System.
Passengers who fail to complete the check-in process within the new timeframe risk being denied boarding without a refund.
Ryanair is also accelerating the installation of self-service kiosks to streamline the process, with 95% of airports expected to have them by October.
Frequent travelers are being urged to arrive at airports significantly earlier to avoid being caught out by the changes.
