Prince Harry Loses High Court Case Against Daily Mail

The High Court in London dismissed claims by Prince Harry, Elton John and others that Associated Newspapers had hacked phones or used private investigators to obtain stories.

Mr Justice Nicklin found no evidence to support the allegations, dealing a humiliating blow to the Duke of Sussex, who had made the case a centrepiece of his crusade against the British tabloid press.

Harry, who travelled to the UK for the ruling, was ordered to pay substantial legal costs.

The defeat is the latest in a series of courtroom setbacks for the prince, whose broader war with the media has yielded mixed results.
