Andrew Malkinson Demands Police Inquiry

Andrew Malkinson Demands Police Inquiry

The case, described as one of the UK's worst miscarriages of justice, has returned to the spotlight after Paul Quinn was convicted of the 2003 sex attack.

Malkinson's legal team is now pushing for a public inquiry into the Greater Manchester Police's handling of the original investigation.

The Independent Office for Police Conduct is already reviewing several aspects of the case, but Malkinson insists that accountability must go further to prevent similar failures.

The government has expressed 'deep regret' over the situation, but has yet to commit to the full inquiry demanded by the exonerated man.
