Southport Inquiry Blames Killer's Parents

The first phase of the inquiry into the murders of three young girls at a Taylor Swift-themed dance class in Southport has laid bare a series of systemic failures.

Chairman Sir Adrian Fulford stated that Axel Rudakubana's parents and various public bodies failed to appreciate the 'evident high level of danger' he posed as his fixation with violence escalated.

The 700-page report makes 67 recommendations for reform, particularly in how information about high-risk individuals is shared between agencies.

Families of the victims have called for urgent changes to ensure such a tragedy never occurs again.
