Amazon to Launch Satellite Internet
In his annual letter to shareholders, Jassy stated that the project is 'on the verge' of going live after years of development.
The rollout will utilize a constellation of low Earth orbit satellites to provide high-speed connectivity to underserved regions.
Amazon is also investing heavily in custom chips to improve the economic efficiency and performance of its cloud and AI offerings.
While technical challenges remain, the company is confident that Leo will become a major pillar of its future growth strategy.
