Massive Fire Engulfs Los Angeles Warehouse
Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass declared a local emergency on Saturday as a fire at a 46,400-square-metre frozen food warehouse in Boyle Heights continued to burn for a fourth day.
The blaze, which started on June 17, has sent thick smoke across the region, prompting air quality warnings and fears of a potential biohazard.
Firefighters have faced complex conditions, and the city is seeking additional resources to combat the fire.
The cause remains under investigation, and residents have been advised to stay indoors.
