Sudan recalls Ethiopia ambassador

Sudan has recalled its ambassador to Ethiopia, escalating regional tensions following a series of drone strikes on Khartoum International Airport.

The Sudanese military has accused Ethiopia of allowing its territory to be used as a launchpad for the attacks, which they claim involved drones supplied by the United Arab Emirates.

The UAE has officially denied any involvement in the incident.

This diplomatic rift occurs as Sudan remains engulfed in a brutal civil war, with neighboring states increasingly accused of interfering in the conflict to secure their own strategic interests.
