White Nationalists March in DC on July 4

The group, wearing khakis, blue shirts, and face coverings, moved through the streets near the U.S. Capitol and Union Station, carrying shields and displaying white nationalist symbols.

D.C. police said there were no arrests or complaints directly related to the march, but its timing on America’s semiquincentennial sparked outrage.

Mayor Zohran Mamdani and others denounced the display as a stain on the national celebration.

The march underscored the persistence of far-right extremism in the country.
