Man City on brink of WSL title

Manchester City have moved to the brink of securing the Women's Super League title following a dramatic 1-0 win against Liverpool.

Rebecca Knaak's stoppage-time header secured the three points, extending City's lead at the top of the table to 11 points over rivals Chelsea.

While Chelsea secured their own Champions League spot with a win over Leicester, they now face an almost impossible task to catch the leaders with only a few games remaining.

The result puts Gareth Taylor's side in a commanding position to claim their first league crown in a decade.
