Pennsylvania reports first measles deaths in 35 years

Pennsylvania has reported its first measles deaths in 35 years after two unvaccinated Lancaster County residents died from the virus.

The deaths are the first fatalities from measles in the United States this year.

Cases across the country have reached their highest level in more than three decades.

The outbreak has renewed concerns about declining vaccination rates.
