Trump Launches Investment Accounts for Children

President Trump launched ‘Trump Accounts,’ tax-advantaged savings plans for Americans under 18, with initial deposits for 500,000 children funded partly by SpaceX stock.

The initiative aims to promote investing from an early age.

Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev said uptake had been 'tremendous,' calling the accounts a 'no-brainer' for new parents.

The program was created under the president's massive tax and spending law passed last year.
