Admiral Cooper testifies on Iran

Admiral Brad Cooper, commander of U.S. Central Command, provided a detailed assessment of the ongoing conflict with Iran during a Senate hearing.

He testified that a sustained bombing campaign by U.S. and Israeli forces has 'severely degraded' Iran's military infrastructure and destroyed vast quantities of its advanced missile inventory.

Cooper emphasized that the Iranian regime would likely require years to reconstitute its offensive capabilities to pre-war levels.

Despite these tactical successes, he warned that the strategic situation remains volatile as the Strait of Hormuz remains a contested waterway.
