Trump Orders Lethal Force in Hormuz

Trump Orders Lethal Force in Hormuz

Tensions in the Strait of Hormuz have reached a critical peak following President Trump's directive for the U.S. Navy to destroy Iranian mine-laying vessels.

This order coincides with reports that U.S. forces have intercepted and boarded at least three tankers in the Indian Ocean, including the M/T Majestic X, for allegedly supporting the Iranian regime.

Iran has retaliated by releasing footage of its own commandos seizing foreign container ships, accusing them of maritime security violations.

The standoff has effectively closed one of the world's most vital shipping lanes, causing global oil prices to surge past $100 per barrel.
