Hajj Pilgrims at Mount Arafat

Hajj Pilgrims at Mount Arafat

Nearly two million Muslim pilgrims have gathered at Mount Arafat in Saudi Arabia for the spiritual climax of the annual Hajj pilgrimage.

Worshippers spent the Day of Arafah in prayer and reflection under a relentless desert sun, with temperatures reaching nearly 40C. The ritual marks the spot where the Prophet Muhammad delivered his final sermon over 1,400 years ago.

Despite the intense heat and the shadow of regional conflict, the atmosphere remained one of profound devotion as pilgrims moved toward the final stages of the journey, including the symbolic stoning of the devil in Mina.
